Insurance and Payment

Most insurance companies provide coverage for artificial eyes under durable medical equipment.  The coverage is typically at least 80%.  Some examples of companies who do provide coverage are: BlueCross BlueShield, Medicare, Mamsi Life and Health, Optimum Choice, MDIPA, GEHA, and Aetna.  Contact your insurance company for details on coverage in your policy.

When you call to make an appointment, we'll ask for your insurance information so that we may call to obtain your benefits.  Some companies require prior authorization or a referral before your first visit.  We will work closely with your insurance company to obtain authorization and will contact you if referrals are necessary.

We are always willing to work with patients who do not have insurance coverage and would be happy to set up a payment plan.  We accept Master Card, Visa, and American Express, as well as personal checks.
